2010, The 16th National Conference on Communications The National Conference on Communications (NCC) is the nation's premier conference in the area of communications and networking. NCC has been held every year since 1995 by rotation in each of the IITs and IISc. The 16th conference which is technically co-sponsored by IEEE will be held at IIT Madras, Chennai from January 29 to January 31, 2010. The objectives of the conference are (i) to bring together researchers from academia, industry, government and regulators in India for sharing of ideas, (ii) to foster original research and (iii) to encourage development of theory and applications in all areas of communications. The conference will start with research-oriented and industry-oriented tutorials. There will be plenary talks by well-known researchers, and a special session on Indian contributions to international telecommunications standards. The conference will feature original research in three symposia on Communications, Networks and Signal Processing respectively. Topics of interest include:
PAPERS: Prospective authors are encouraged to submit full paper(s) for review. Only original papers which have not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere will be considered. Please visit the conference website (http://www.ncc.org.in/ncc2010) for more details. Submission of papers is online via the Easy Chair website (http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ncc2010). All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. This conference is being held under the technical co-sponsorship of IEEE ComSoc Society. Authors of accepted papers will have to sign the IEEE copyright form for the paper to appear on the IEEExplore.ieee.org site. Further, all accepted papers should comply with IEEE format requirement.
