Instructions for final manuscript submission of accepted papers

We would like to emphasise that all of the following must be ensured latest by
08 December, 2010, in order for your paper to be included in the conference proceedings.

1. Final manuscript formatting guidelines.

   The final manuscript should not exceed five double-column pages, main text font size no smaller than 10 points, top margin at least 0.75 in, bottom margin at least 0.75 in, left and right margins at least 0.65 in, minimum line spacing 11 points. Size of the page should be letter (8.5 in x 11.0 in).

   Only electronic submission in Portable Document Format (PDF) is acceptable.

   Authors are requested to adhere to two column IEEE conference format for their manuscripts. An example PDF file can be downloaded from here: ncc2011_example.pdf. This pdf was created in LaTeX using the following source file: ncc2011_example.tex. The LaTeX style files and bibliography files are available here:

   • Unix LaTeX2e Style File (TAR.GZ)
   • WIN OR MAC LaTeX2e Style File (ZIP)
   • Unix Bibliography File (TAR.GZ)
   • WIN and MAC Bibliography File (ZIP)

   For authors using MS Word for preparing their manuscript the following template will be useful: MS Word Template.

   Also ensure that:

   1. Pictures of the authors or biographies DO NOT appear anywhere in the camera ready manuscript.
   2. Page number or volume of publication at the top header DO NOT appear in camera ready manuscript.

2. IEEE PDF Xplore compliance via IEEE PDF eXpress.

   IEEE Xplore PDF compliance must be checked at the IEEE PDF eXpress web site. If your file is not IEEE Xplore complaint, it will NOT be published and will be removed from the NCC 2011 conference proceedings and the IEEE Xplore database. To meet these requirements, you must ensure that your PDF file is compliant by using the IEEE PDF eXpress system before you submit your camera ready paper to the EDAS portal.

   Steps to be followed for IEEE Xplore compliant PDF generation:

   1. Go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site http://www.pdf-express.org/
   2. If you already have a PDF eXpress account, login with Conference ID: ncc11x.
   3. If you do not have a PDF eXpress account, click on the link "New Users - Click Here" and fill in your information. You will need the Conference ID: ncc11x.
   For any assistance regarding PDF eXpress, click on the following link: http://www.pdf-express.org/frhelp.asp.

3. Upload PDF Xplore compliant manuscript via EDAS.

   If you pass the IEEE PDF eXpress check, you will receive a PDF file from IEEE PDF eXpress via e-mail. Approved PDF files will be stamped with an approval comment in the document properties by PDF eXpress. You must upload this "received" PDF file via EDAS web site..

4. Copyright submission.

   IEEE copyright form must be submitted for each accepted paper. After the PDF Xplore compliant paper is uploaded through EDAS, you need to complete the IEEE copyright formalities.
   • On the EDAS paper page, click on the '+' sign next to 'Copyright form', and follow instructions.

5. Enter author names.

   Ensure that the author names are correctly indicated on the paper. Also ensure that all the author names are entered on the EDAS paper page.

Publication Policy:

Peer-reviewed and accepted papers must be presented at the conference by an author for inclusion in the proceedings, and for accessibility via IEEE Xplore after the conference.
